Berlin

2020

Urban Canvas was a dynamic art exhibition held in Berlin in 2020, celebrating the city’s ever-evolving urban landscape through the eyes of contemporary artists. The exhibition featured a diverse range of works, each exploring themes of transformation, identity, and the intersection of the urban environment and creative expression. With a bold, immersive approach, Urban Canvas invited visitors to experience Berlin as a living, breathing canvas of artistic innovation.

Summary

Our role in the promotion of Urban Canvas involved designing a comprehensive marketing strategy that spanned both digital and print channels. We created visually striking posters, flyers, and event programs, distributed throughout key cultural and artistic hubs in Berlin, ensuring maximum visibility for the exhibition. On the digital front, we leveraged targeted social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, and partnerships with local art communities to drive engagement and attendance.

Challenge

One of the key challenges was cutting through the noise in Berlin’s competitive art scene, where multiple events were taking place throughout 2020. With a diverse range of artists and art forms being showcased, we needed to ensure Urban Canvas stood out as a must-see exhibition. We also had to appeal to a broad audience while maintaining a cohesive brand identity that reflected the contemporary and urban nature of the exhibition. Additionally, designing and executing an effective marketing campaign that integrated both print and digital channels while staying within a limited budget posed a significant challenge. Ensuring that the promotional materials resonated with both locals and international visitors was also key to driving foot traffic to the venue.

Solutions

To cut through the competition, we created bold, urban-inspired visuals for both print and digital materials that captured the exhibition’s contemporary vibe. We distributed posters and flyers in key cultural spots in Berlin while running a targeted social media campaign with local influencers to drive buzz. By blending eye-catching print marketing with strategic digital outreach, we effectively reached both local art lovers and international visitors, ensuring high foot traffic and engagement.
